Birch Family Services Appoints New Chief Development Officer

Birch Family Services is pleased to welcome Samantha Nottingham as the organization’s new chief development officer. Samantha brings extensive experience to the position, including 15 years advocating and fundraising for programs supporting underrepresented youth. Her expertise and skills will support the organization’s mission of empowering people with autism and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

Prior to joining Birch Family Services, Samantha was director of resource development at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. She was also previously the director of development and communications at the Bronx Charter School for Better Learning. Samantha is a founding board member of the Heketi Community Charter School and a guest columnist for The Harlem Times. She has a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado.
