Birch Spotlighted in Recent News!

We believe Autism Acceptance Month is more than just a month – it’s an opportunity to help advocate for over 2,000 individuals and their families that Birch Family Services supports each day. We are passionate about fostering a world where individuals with autism are fully embraced, supported, and celebrated for their uniqueness.

We’re happy to share that our programs have already been featured on several media outlets during Autism Acceptance Month. Please take a look at some of our programs that were recently featured in the news.

Fox 5 New York aired a special segment by Reporter Linda Schmidt that showcased the journeys of several individuals within the Birch Family Services community who are seeking relationships. This heartwarming special delved into the lives of a few remarkable individuals, highlighting their unique personalities, dreams, challenges, and aspirations.

Fox 5 New York’s Good Day Street Talk spoke with Marjory Antoine, our Vice President of Education Programs, about Birch being one of the largest providers of early childhood programs for young people with Autism and developmental disabilities and how we support these individuals in our programs.

News 12 The Bronx was on the scene of our annual Autism Acceptance Month Parade at our Pelham Bay Early Childhood Center. With the theme of “Amazing, Special, Different”, Our students walked alongside their friends, teachers, family members, and community members to show their pride and raise awareness for Autism.
