Judith Kauffman Fullmer

Board Member

Judith is a highly experienced employment lawyer and business executive, with a long career in the for-profit sector. She has worked for companies including American Express and Citigroup as a senior executive specializing in US and international labor and employee relations, where she also initiated strategies to support life-work balance including the institution of on-site child care centers. Judith became a member of the Board of Directors after being invited by a friend to tour several schools and small group homes. She says, “I fell in love with the kids and staff. The kids were happy and animated, the staff was loving and engaged, and after a few more visits I knew I wanted to support this work.”  Judith has been involved in the nonprofit world throughout her career, having served both on professional association boards and not-for-profit boards including the Child Care Action Campaign. She was a U.S. delegate to the United Nations’ International Labor Organization tri-partite meetings. Currently, she is a consultant in employee relations, leadership best practices, employment law education, and employee related problem solving, working primarily (but not exclusively) in the nonprofit sector.
