Lourdes M. Slater

Lourdes is a litigation partner at Grais & Ellsworth LLP and the Chief Executive Officer of Karta Legal LLC. She has been involved with Birch Family Services for over a decade. She was a member of the Board of Directors from 2007-2010, and again from 2015 to the present. She currently serves on the Philanthropy, Nominating and Compliance Committees. Lourdes has a passion for child advocacy and early childhood development, and she is committed to serving Birch’s mission. She is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Georgetown University. A native of Puerto Rico, she has worked in New York City since 1992 and currently lives in Westport, Connecticut.
