The Next Chapter Begins: Celebrating Our Birch Graduate Class of 2026

The end of the school year was filled with pride, joy, and celebration as Birch honored its students across our schools during graduation and moving-up ceremonies. Surrounded by parents, families, caregivers, and dedicated teachers and staff, students were recognized for the hard work, perseverance, and personal growth that brought them to this important milestone the past school year.

“As I graduate today, I hope that people will remember that communication can look different for different people,” said Massimo, a graduate from the Phyllis L. Susser School at Springfield Gardens that utilizes an assistive device to communicate. “I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for what comes next.”

“My son is non-verbal but he has a voice to me because of all his teachers,” said Melda, the mother of Rejan, a graduate from the Washington Heights Education Center. “Thank you so much for everything.”

Congratulations to all of our graduates and students moving up to the next chapter of their educational journey. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in the years ahead!
