Betsy Howard, MBA, MPH

Betsy Howard is Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Administration at NYU Langone Health where she manages all administrative aspects of research, public psychiatry and faculty affairs in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  Prior to joining NYU Langone in 2011, Betsy spent nearly twenty years working in a variety of administrative, analytic and strategic planning roles in health care and academic medicine, working for both provider and industry organizations. She holds MBA and MPH degrees from Columbia University and a BA in sociology and community health delivery from Tufts University. Her interest in Birch Family Services is informed by both personal and professional experiences, as she has navigated support systems for a developmentally disabled family member and has a career-long commitment to the delivery of publicly funded mental health and related services.
